MOTHERS', DAY on BOARD

Just realized that we will be on board the Gem on May 8 which is Mothers' Day. Does NCL do anything special on board to celebrate this day?

No. I was on the Sun last year and didn't see or receive any special treatment. It was a port day, if that made any difference.

I've been onboard for Mother's Day past two years. They had a beautifully decorated cake on the Jade and Pearl in the garden cafe. Think that's the extent of it unless you care to wish a mother a happy Mother's Day.

Just mentioned to my cousin who I am sailing with. Neither of us were aware of it.

 

Thought since we are at sea and it appears it may also be an optional dress up night, NCL might do a little something.
