Looking for a nice sandy beach with calm water. Nice view and little entertainment a +

Which one is closer from the cruise ship?

Any particular section on each beach better than others?

Thank you

Closest to the port is South Friars Beach. There is a nice view of Nevis from Cockleshell. Both are rather calm as they are on the Caribbean side of the island as opposed to the Atlantic side. Both have bar/restaurants available for food and drink.

Physically, Cockleshell is a more spacious beach. S Friar's gets narrow toward the south end.

At the south end of S Friar's they put out food to feed the monkeys, if you like monkeys.

Both sites have several eating options. S Friar's is closer to port, Cockleshell is closer to Nevis.
