Another post-cruise advice question, TIA!

Sailing the Allure of the Seas, getting back into Port Everglades July 3. I currently have a 12:45pm flight with a 4hr :eek: layover in ATL. I'm contemplating changing that to a Nonstop 8pm flight. So here's where the advice is needed.... Considering Las Olas for the day. Should we take a taxi straight from the Port to Las Olas then from there to FLL? We will do Luggage Valet, so we will have no bags in tow. Other options are appreciated!! :)

We got off independence this morning and have an 8pm non-stop this evening. We did free shuttle from

Port to rental car at FLL, rented a car ($32 total) and have spent the day at the huge Sawgrass mall, bowling, and currently just driving around taking in the notable sights.

Where is the free shuttle offered?

Between the port and the rental car garage at the airport. We got on right outside the terminal.

Download the Uber app. Without luggage you can use Uber X and that will be the least expensive and most convenient way around town. If it's a rainy day, go to Galleria Mall. If it's a really nice day, you can tour the water on the Water Taxi for $25 pp (buy tickets on the water taxi). There is a stop really close to the port and airport under the 17th St bridge next to the Hilton Marina hotel. You can get there by Uber or taxi, but if you are docked at terminal 1-4 you can walk.
