How would I request a handicapped stateroom on the Koningsdam? Does it need to be requested by a travel agent and are there any on a lower deck, which, at least by one post, is less subject to vibrations?

Accessible rooms can be booked through your travel agent or by booking directly with Holland America. The deck plan for Koningsdam on Holland America's website shows there are four accessible cabins on the Main Deck.

 

I've not been on the new ship, but I've had many accessible cabins on various decks and can't say I've ever experienced vibration issues in any of them.
