nygator Posted April 27, 2016 #1 Share Posted April 27, 2016 I am traveling this summer to belize with my family which includes 5 kids (2 of them under 1 year old). I would like to visit goff's caye but am concerned about the lack of shade for the kids especially the infants. Do you think I would be allowed to bring either a pop up tent or an umbrella to shield the little ones from the sun? Can anyone recall ever seeing anybody use any of these items for shade? Any other ideas? I tried to search the forums but do not see anyone ever getting this answered. Thank you for your responses.
Rare crewsweeper Posted April 27, 2016 #2 Share Posted April 27, 2016 You need to first check with your cruise line. These items are on the prohibited lists for some cruise lines. But you can bring a regular umbrella, so a large golf type umbrella may be an answer.
nygator Posted April 27, 2016 Author #3 Share Posted April 27, 2016 I looked on carnivals prohibited and restricted items list and did not see either item listed. So I guess I am fine there. However I am unsure if the island itself prohibits such items. Does anyone know?
Canadian Tyler Posted April 29, 2016 #4 Share Posted April 29, 2016 Not a bad idea. I don't think they would be prohibited on the island. It's beautiful there. Enjoy! Sent from my SM-G920W8 using Tapatalk
