Jade with teenagers?

 Share

Recommended Posts

We are considering a cruise next April on the Jade out of Tampa, and our children will be 15 and 13 years old then. If you've sailed on the Jade with teenagers, what were their impressions on the ship? Were there enough activities to keep them busy?

Thank you!

We sailed the Jade this April with a 12 year old. He liked the additional activities offered on the Breakaway (zipline, etc), but he had more fun with his peers on the Jade. He said it was the best kids' club he'd been to and that includes Disney.

From what I observed, teens on the Jade met each other in the club and then hung out in large groups. They all seemed to be enjoying themselves, just hanging out and talking.

We cruised on the Jade 2 years ago out of Venice and there were 7 kids ranging from 15-18 and they didn't go to the kids programs as they made friends on the ship and spent most of their time with them. Overall, though they always ha something to do and left to adults to do their own thing. Our kids preferred the pool and eating most of the time.
