MalleyCat Posted May 4, 2016 #51 Share Posted May 4, 2016 We've cruised Carnival 11 times, with 12 and 13 booked and only been called one time...for an upsell that we didn't take. I'm on the sight a few times a week minimum. I guess we're lucky! :D
FloridaMommyof3 Posted May 4, 2016 #52 Share Posted May 4, 2016 I used to get calls when I first starting looking before my first cruise. I haven't gotten one in at least 2 years now, and I've booked a few cruises since and frequently visit the website.
elvisran Posted May 4, 2016 #53 Share Posted May 4, 2016 I am rarely rude to anyone unless provoked, and have never been rude to anyone on the phone from Carnival. Not being able to take calls from a PVP while I am at work and diverting them to voicemail is not being rude.
lemansz20 Posted May 4, 2016 #54 Share Posted May 4, 2016 Sometimes it is hard to be nice when you have told them repeatedly not to call you and they still do it. Respect works both ways. I agree to a certain extent, you can always ask them to be reassigned to another sales agent that may be more organized. I guess b/c I have sales experience I see it both ways, but I would never book elsewhere then my guy. I know its how he eats, so I pick up the calls, but I have history and he knows I will only call him to book. Build the relationship, and the the respect both ways you speak about will come. The generation nowadays is so disconnected its horrible.
