What are they building next to the British Colonial Hilton in Nassau?

Our cabbie 2 weeks ago said it was going to be a new property owned by the same corporation. It doesn't affect the BCH beach or property during construction but is kind of an eyesore if walking by.

The structure going up right now is a parking garage. It will have a bowling alley and a movie theater on the top. We are in dire need of parking, and this will bring some relief as well as some entertainment.

 

A new hotel and marina are also planned for the waterfront on that property.

Right now there is little noise from the area when sitting at the pool or beach.
