Southampton Europcar

Recommended Posts

About a mile / 20 minutes.

Very simple, level, no major roads to cross, sidewalks all the way.

Be aware that although Europcar's address is West Quay Road (a major thoroughfare) it's actually in a blind spur off that road.

Presuming that you drop luggage (& mebbe passengers) at Mayflower terminal, drive out of the port by dock gate 10.

Outside the port, at the traffic lights turn right (signed Fareham, Portsmouth) onto West Quay Road.

After two sets of lights & IKEA, turn right at the next traffic lights, signed "service road". This effectively returns you in the direction you've come from, but on the service road. Then take the first on your left, by the Honda dealership. Europcar is behind that Honda dealership.

This is the route from terminal to Europcar by car - on foot of course you can avoid the doglegs.
