early transfer to Heathrow from Southampton

Can we request the first transfer back to Heathrow from Southampton?

 

Or it is only based on return flight times?

 

What time would the first bus leave the port back to Heathrow?

I had the same concern.

Solved it by staying over night in the hotel connected to the airport.

It's based on flight times. You can ask for an earlier bus but then someone who needs to be there earlier than you do might not be able to get an earlier bus.

Couple of weeks ago it was done by which terminal you were flying from. Flight needs to be after 1pm to use princess transfer. My transfer to T5 left at 10am and got to LHR at 11.15. There are major roadworks on the motorway to and from Heathrow and delays are very possible.

As I recall the first transfer didn't leave until just before 0900, there was a number of them that left about that time and our coach was certainly not full.
