Not only did FTTF open up for my 8/17 cruise but Verizon just added more Carnival gift cards to their Smart Rewards so I was able this time to get enough to pay off my cruise and have enough for the Cheers Package all now 10% off. It is like $250.OO off. I will take that every time.

If you have your cell phone service through Verizon, you accumulate points that can be redeemed for Carnival gift cards at a 10% discount. For example, if you have 10,000 Verizon points, you can use those points to purchase $1,000 in Carnival gift cards for $900 (10% discount)

 

Alternatively, you can open an AARP "Rewards For Good" account (you don't actually have to join AARP...and you don't have to be 50+ to open an account) and accumulate points there that can also be redeemed at the same 10% discount for Carnival cards. Points at AARP are easy to earn...usually you just have to answer some questionaires to accumulate points.
