booked cruise for August 16, main deck oceanview cabin Aft m269 has anyone stayed in this cabin can give pros. and cons, first time aft. and oceanview usually stay in balcony.

I've stayed in M265 on Fascination a few times. I like the aft view and 265 is on the end. Engine noise didn't bother me, but you may have some extra noise from ropes and such when docking, just like any room front or back.

We just returned from staying in a main deck aft cabin. There is a good bit more vibration from the thrusters when coming into and out of port which woke us up each time we docked. Usually starts about an hour to half hour prior to port so time to get up for us anyway. The engine noise was more of a light chugging along noise, but nothing excessive. We did like not having much traffic down the halls and being close to the aft elevator/stairs. Enjoy your cruise.

I am staying in M265 on the 6/19 trip. Do you know what the two white out decks are above the Empress aft balconies?
