We did not but they take them. It was ok. Beach was quiet, lunch was good. Wasn't impressed with the "facilities" or pool.

Should have gone to Elbow Beach resort instead.

A couple of years ago two of us went to Coco Reef with two people who had reservations and were lucky to get in without reservations. We got there early and the woman at the desk pretty much said that she shouldn't be letting us in because they were 'sold out'. We were allowed in but I highly recommend reservations.

We enjoyed the day so much that we went back the following summer for another day. Enjoy! :)

6 of us did Coco Reef this past week. It was beautiful. The private minibus took us there for $9pp. He said he'd pick us up when we wanted and was there on time. He even said 'no charge' for the 3 kids on the way back. We used him the next day also for HSB, $7pp, one kid free. If you have kids watch them carefully. There were waves and the tide was coming in. It was a lot of fun. The sand was great for castles (we brought buckets & shovels). Lunch from the patio had an awesome view and lots of shade. Then we used their pool. It was a great day.

I noted that you said private minibus. Did you contact them at the pier or make arrangements in advance?

Thank you in advance.

We just walked to the taxi/bus area and asked the dispatcher. Our driver gave us a little tour on the way. On the way back from Coco, we discussed that the next day could he take 8 of us. It worked out nicely, he gave us another little side tour.

We were at CoCo Reef two years ago and loved it. We made reservations prior to our visit.

We are planning on going back again in August and have also made reservations again.

We were/are a party of six and and last time took a minibus right outside the pier (docked at Kings Wharf). I plan on doing the same next month.

Enjoy!
