Juneau Flooding

Leaving on the Explorer of the Seas and wondering what, if any effect the Mendenhall flooding will have.

When we were leaving for our cruise a couple of years ago I read about the path to Mendenhall Glacier being closed due to flooding. All I kept thinking was how I really wanted to walk to the glacier, I just didn't want to see it from the visitor center.

 

By the time we got there the path was re-opened. Don't give it another thought because we can't control mother nature.

 

Hope you get to walk the mile path to the glacier, it was amazing.
