Longlocks11 Posted July 3, 2016 #1 Share Posted July 3, 2016 (edited) We have a group of 3 and just wondering if a cab would be the cheapest way from FLL to to port of miami? Edited July 3, 2016 by Longlocks11
CruiserBruce Posted July 3, 2016 #2 Share Posted July 3, 2016 Welcome to Cruise Critic! Over on the Florida Departures board, here: http://boards.cruisecritic.com/forumdisplay.php?f=495 you will find this topic discussed daily. Shared shuttle is the cheapest, at $15pp. Uber is next...rates vary. Other than limo, taxi, at about $85, is the most expensive.

They come swiftly and the comfort level will be higher than a shuttle. Price should be less than the total for the shuttle.
langleyfld Posted July 4, 2016 #4 Share Posted July 4, 2016 Use SAS shuttle. They are prompt and safe!

Brilliant! :D:) We usually use SAS...........which has been fine but we did have a major "hiccup" with them once Going to check out UBER for Hawaii in September - not only airport to ship but home to airport, we use a local limo service which is well worth the $$ but I am all for spending those $$ on kitchen magnets etc. :p
luddite Posted July 4, 2016 #6 Share Posted July 4, 2016 Well, truthfully.....walking would probably be the least expensive way to get there. You would need to allow enough time though.
Midwestern Cruiser Posted July 5, 2016 #7 Share Posted July 5, 2016 Actually, the cheapest transfer is renting a car at FLL and turning it in at MIA then taking the rental car transporation to the pier. Alamo does this and it's great. We usually do it the day before and get a head start on our vacation, but you can do it same day if your flight in is early enough.
