Transportation from Cruise port to Barcelona Sants

Hello, when we disembark in Barcelona we will be heading to Madrid via train. I received a quote from a company we used previously for airport transportation and the quote seemed very high at 69 euro. Seems a lot for a 15 minute ride. Does anyone have any "limo" company recommendations in Barcelona? Alternatively how long is the wait for a taxi typically? We have plenty of time as our train doesn't leave until noon.

Wow that is expensive :eek: I would just pick up a taxi at the port. Don't know how much it will cost to Sants but I would think no more than 25 euros.

 

Even at the busiest times the wait for a taxi in Barcelona isn't too long as they operate a very efficient system. If you can wait and disembark as late as possible when the queues have died down you won't have to wait very long at all.

We went from our cruise ship to Sants by taxi. Sunday morning around 8 or 8:30, with two big ships in port, and there was no waiting. I think it cost us 15 euros for the trip.

I think 15 Euros is more likely to be the correct amount for the taxi. I would also just wait for one at the port. Barcelona always has plenty of taxis available.
