we will be disembarking NCL Pearl on Oct.1st in San Pedro and have an 8:30 PM flight from LAX...

 

Ship pre flight tours end at the airport at 2 PM.. still a long wait.

 

are there any LAX hotels that offer day stays?

 

could switch flights to Long Beach airport but flight leaves at 11:15 AM which seems too risky!

 

Any ideas that would help us kill time would be appreciated.

Not a day rate, but the Four Points offers a 24 hour rate, meaning you can check in any time not just the standard 3PM or 4PM check-in. You just have to be sure to to ask for it at the time of booking.

 

If that doesn't work, the Travelodge LAX South is pretty cheap and nice.

thanks. i called them and they can offer a tour but we will still have 4 to 5 hours at the airport...they do not have a tour that gets us back to the airport after 6.

checked the Travelodge..it looks the best. might however just take a ship tour until 2:30 PM and then spring for the Alaska lounge. at least there we can relax,have supper, and watch TV.

We have booked a room at travel lodge for October.

Shuttle to LAX then hotel shuttle to hotel.
