Camp Ocean first nite

Can someone who has already cruised on Vista with young kids tell me if they opened the first evening. My grandson can not escape the dining room fast enough to go to kids club.

I'm sure Camp Ocean was open from the afternoon for kids under 12 if I remember right. The club for those over 12 didn't start until the first evening (after 5pm I think)

There was no Camp Ocean on the first night; everything started at 10 a.m. the following morning. You could stop by and take a tour and fill out forms, but no activities were planned.

I haven't sailed the Vista yet, but this was also my experience on the Breeze last time. I'm assuming it still holds true.

We were on the Vista last July and we had the same experience.

 

They had an open house during the embarkation day and night so we were able to check out the facilities. Camp Ocean opened for drop off the following day.

Orientation is all they have the fist night. Teen program does an ice breaker but nothing else
