jennyprovo Posted August 11, 2016 #1 Share Posted August 11, 2016 We are sailing out of San Juan in October on the Gem. Our depart time is 9PM. Do you know if it is possible to check in and get back off to do some exploring of San Juan? We know we would have to be back on the ship for muster drill. But we would like to spend a few hours in town without lugging all of our luggage. We have never left port so late before. Has anyone tried to get back off the ship after they have checked in? casofilia Posted August 11, 2016 #2 Share Posted August 11, 2016 There is no reason why you can't get off again when you have checked in to go exploring. Remember though that you may still have your carry-on with you, it will depend if you can get it in your cabin. As you can't get in your cabin till they are cleared you might have to make some "arrangement" with your steward!!
