FLL to Downtown Miami Hotel

I just got Hotel Urbano on hotwire for $120 a night in December which I am hoping is good? Anyhow SAS doesn't drop off at Urbano what would be my best mode of transportation to the hotel from Fort Lauderdale airport for 7 of us? We arrive 2 days before our cruise. Is a rental car necessary for the area? I saw there was a free trolley close to the hotel.

No need for a car rental . Cab,Uber ,bus,metro mover are all available.

Unless some in your group pack like my wife a couple of Ubers at about $45 each will get you there.
