Pre-Cruise Miami - 11/11

We are arriving at FLL at 10:30pm on 11/11. Our cruise is out of Miami on 11/12. We are planning on the tri-star airport express to get us to miami. I would like to get a hotel in Miami on 11/11 but, since we are arriving so late and I am sure I will be up at the crack of dawn to get to the port as early as possible, I would prefer not to spend $100 for the 7-8 hours we will be at the hotel. I have found Holiday Inn/Airport West for $80 and Holiday Inn Express Miami Springs for $85. Any better suggestions as to where we can stay?
