Marriott Tampa Downtown

Hello all,

 

Has anyone stayed at this hotel 1 night prior to cruise and how was it ? Any restaurant close by or shopping ? I heard the hotel offers shuttle serve to the port if so how was it?

We stayed at the Marriott Waterside which I believe is the downtown location.

 

Loved, loved, loved this hotel!!! Has its own restaurant and a separate sports bar which is also awesome! So very nice both inside and outside!

 

The trolley line is literally right outside the door which will take you all over the city.

 

Not sure about the shuttle to the port, but you are only about a miles away so a taxi would be minimal.

Taxi to the port would be $6pp, flat rate.

Have not stayed pre or post cruise but have stayed for arena events across the street. Great location to port and downtown waterfront. Has on site restaurant and lounge.
