NCL Gem - Pizza

I had pizza on the Dawn in 2010 and 2015 and I thought it was bad. I love pizza so I would grab a slice a few times during the week. On our 2016 cruise on the Dawn I thought the pizza had vastly improved in both texture and

taste. I thought it was very good to the point I would grab

a couple of slices (or more) everyday at the buffet. We are cruising the GEM in October and I'm hoping that the pizza has improved fleet wide.

 

Unless they've changed it lately, pizza on NCL is probably the one thing that is most inconsistent across the fleet based on our experience.

we loved calling our butler on the portable room phone from anywhere on the ship, late night, to order pizza and have it waiting for us upon our return. this was on Gem... our butler was Roshan and he was awesome!!!!

Oh that's great. I just know if I've had a drink or 3, I may want to order a pizza! Could be dangerous but what the hell.

I definitely recall ordering a 3am post drinks pizza last year. That’s the best kind of non NY/NJ Pizza IMO.

I believe that the room service charge is per order, not per item, so the meal for 4 would still cost $7.95

I think someone said if your booked in a suite it's included, so no charge. I could be wrong, maybe charged for the pizza but not charged for the delivery. Pizza and a late night movie sounds nice.
