Choice of deck. neoRiviera

Hi we are looking at booking a cruise from Italy to Mauritius next year on the Costa neoRiviera. We are looking at a mini suite on deck 10 but have noticed that deck 11 is an activity deck with anything from the gym, teens club to bar and pool. Has anyone any experience of being disturbed by activities on deck 11

Hello young retired. We did the same cruise but in reverse last year but on the neo-classica and had a Fab time. I'm sure you will enjoy it.

 

We are on the neo-riviera in 7 weeks time sailing from Dubai to Venice staying in a panoramic suite on deck 7. If i meet anyone who is in a mini suite on deck 10 i shall ask their opinions on it and try and let you know. hope this helps and happy cruising.:)

I stayed underneath such an activity deck on my first cruise - different ship. Decided never again. It depends whether the activity above has a carpeted room and whether they are moving chairs early in the morning (pool deck!)and/or other objects like pucks or balls throughout the day. I wondered where the noise was originating until I discovered the shuffle board game near our cabin, not even directly above.

Thank you for your replies. I have studied deck 11 and see that there is a beauty salon which, if we could get a cabin below that, might not be too noisy!?
