Carnival's VIP Luxury Champagne Catamaran Sail & Snorkel

Will be going on the Paradise in a couple of weeks and interested in this excursion. Has anyone been on it recently and if so what did you like and dislike about it and would you do it again. Thanks.

I'm going on my first cruise next month and my hubby and I were planning to do this excursion. Now that I've been reading posts on here, I'm not sure if we should do the catamaran or go to one of the beach resorts. The reviews for the catamaran excursion are overwhelmingly positive, but I'm still not sure.
