Freeport Hurricane Matthew aftermath

Just back from Freeport. There is still alot of hurricane damage. It was pretty sad and depressing. But the people there really need the tourist business.

I came back on the ship feeling sad.

What did you do while there? Looking for suggestions as to what to do. We like to go on our own. Did you visit any beaches?

At Freeport we did not visit any beaches. There was so little time, we had to be back on board by 1:00.

We did the perfume factory, we were allowed 25 minutes there. Then we went to the beer distillery. We saw where the Bahama Sands beer was made, then we had 7 samples. Then for about 20 minutes we were allowed to drink as much beer as we could. It was actually a fun time, or it could be that drinking beer fast makes everyone laugh more, talk more and just enjoy the moment. The Pink Lady beer is awesome.

The tour guide "Tiny" was very thorough by showing us around town.
