New Years Eve celebration on St.Thomas

Has anyone stayed in St.Thomas for

New Years Eve? If so, any recommendations for events, where to see fireworks, dinner recommendations? I know Foxys on Jost is popular but would prefer to stay in St.Thomas.

If there are fireworks, they will be at the Ritz. Check when you arrive, in case someone ponies up for the $$ for fireworks at other locales. There are no "public" fireworks. Dinner? Most of the fine restaurants will have two seatings with champagne and a prix fixe menu. Just depends what you want to eat... P.S. Virgin Islanders typically partake in kallaloo, a spinach or dasheen-leaf based soup with fish,lobster and maybe pork, for Old Year's.
