Dunns falls.

Hey all, we are cruising the Vista is February. We have 3 teens, looking into Dunns falls, any suggestion on booking? Anyone ever venture there solo, or any suggestions on excursion that you had good or bad experiences through? Thanks in advance!!!

A few years ago I did the RCCL excursion there. It was a combo Dunn's River Falls climb and a tour of the Green Grotto Caves. The falls are about an hour from the port, assuming its Falmouth, so I just booked from the cruise line itself (afraid to miss the ship on my own, haha)

Climbing the falls had been one of my bucket list items for the longest time so I jumped at the chance to fulfill my dream. I would highly suggested visiting the falls. Not sure how Carnival handles their tours but my experience with the Royal Caribbean was wonderful. The area around the falls was beautiful, the climb isn't overly stressful and pretty awesome. Getting to climb right up the center of a waterfall is kinda...fantastic. I did it in January and while at first the water felt cool, I adjusted quick. You actually start the climb from standing in the ocean! Most people were climbing hand-in-hand in chains. I climbed on my own, with a non-waterproof Canon Camera in hand and kept it dry, easy, while climbing. After you complete the climb there is a little shopping village that sells all the same stuff you see everywhere else. There were bathrooms/changing rooms at the entrance too.
