We plan on taking the after cruise tour that goes to the space needle. We will still have about 6 hrs before our flight, any suggestions on what to do during our wait

I would compare the price of the excursion and/or getting a "day room" at a hotel or rental car, to the price of changing to an earlier flight. Pick the cheaper option.
