ravinblue Posted January 2, 2017 #1 Share Posted January 2, 2017 We are going on a cruise next week that includes the UAE, India, Sri Lanka, Thailand, and Singapore - 7 sea days, 8 ports. It looks like the temperatures will be highs from the high 70's to the mid 90's ˚F (that's 26 to 35 ˚C). We've never been on a ship when it is that warm outside before. Are people comfortable on sea days dressing as they would if they were in port (i.e. short pants and short sleeve shirts) or would the ship's air conditioning make one feel uncomfortably chilly? Kartgv Posted January 2, 2017 #2 Share Posted January 2, 2017 You'll probably spend much time outside on deck - shorts, T-shirts, light-weight shirts or bathing suits will be the norm. If you get chilly easily, bring a light sweater or shawl that you can carry with you to put on indoors if you are cold. You may find after the first day or so that you don't need it. The only place we remember needing a sweater was in the sky lounge during the day if it wasn't crowded with people. If public rooms are crowded, they seem to warm up pretty quickly.
