iConcierge on Dawn

Hello. We are cruising on the Dawn next month. There are going to be 9 of us in 5 cabins all over the ship going in all different directions so communication could be a challenge. Has anybody used the iConcierge app on the Dawn lately? How much was it? Did it work well?

Almost forgot the most important question. Do you need a data plan in order to make calls and send texts to people on the ship?

No. Payment for the iconcierge service PER DEVICE allows calls and text without a data plan. I don't recall how much it costs. The service on the Dawn is very good since her dry dock earlier this year.
