bagladee Posted January 11, 2017 #1 Share Posted January 11, 2017 We will be cruising on the Carnival Breeze in a few months. We aren't flying out of Hobby until evening time and would like to spend the day exploring Galveston. Any suggestions for storing our luggage for the day?? ccrawfo Posted July 6, 2017 #2 Share Posted July 6, 2017 Did you come up with a solution for storing your luggage for a few hours? We are in the same situation and are trying to find options!
bagladee Posted July 6, 2017 Author #3 Share Posted July 6, 2017 Yes!! We ended up renting a minivan for 6 of us. We got a "one way" rental in Galveston. Picked it up at 9am (we took Get Me to car lot from terminal). Then we stored our luggage in the back and drove around Galveston. The one way rental wasn't any more than the shuttle for 6. It may not be affordable for 2 people. Let me know if you have any questions. Sent from my SM-G930V using Forums mobile app
ccrawfo Posted July 7, 2017 #4 Share Posted July 7, 2017 Renting a car will not work for us, but thank you for the reply!
Galveston Cruiser Posted July 7, 2017 #5 Share Posted July 7, 2017 The Port of Galveston will store luggage during the day. Do not know how late. Was told this during a Chamber of Commerce open house at the port last month. Sent from my iPhone using Forums

bagladee Posted August 1, 2017 Author #9 Share Posted August 1, 2017 Enterprise is the only rental place on Galveston. It was a short "Get Me" ride; similar to a taxi. Just the 2 adults renting cars would need to go and then they can drive back to the terminal and pick up the rest of your party. And could take uber to others . Depends on what you want to see and do.
