I got the email from them saying

"First of all I would like to offer an apology on behalf of all of us. During

the last year, the company passed through several changes due to the change

in government. In order to increase the security of our valuable customers

information and due to the fact that the administrative laws has changed for

us by our Government. Unfortunately during that process we gained a delay on

the payment of the shopping incentive refunds.

 

I want to thank you so much for being so patient, helpful and kind,

providing us this time to get your reimbursement.

 

Now I am happy to inform you that your refund request is on top of the list

and ready for the next payment which should go out next 2 weeks. Please

check your credit card statement in order to see it reflected on your

account. It takes between 1-5 working days, for the local banks to credit

the amount onto your credit card in your local currency.

 

I am very glad to have been able to help you and I really appreciate your

patience with us.

 

Thank you again and I wish you a lovely and wonderful day.

3weeks passed, nothing happens...:rolleyes:

Not sure if it helps or not, but it took around 4 weeks from the time that they said the money had been 'approved for payment' and the time I saw the credit on my card. I think it has to go from them to the government - who then processes it.

 

Hang in there....you might get it (or maybe not....:confused:) Please let us know what happens!!

I got the email from them saying

3weeks passed, nothing happens...:rolleyes:

 

 

We made a purchase in Cozumel in January 2017, after a few months sent a couple emails and got the same email about changes in the government, blah, blah, blah. I emailed a couple more times back and forth with the last email going unanswered. It is now end of September and nothing. TOTAL SCAM.

I have been waiting for mine since 2015. It's a total scam. I was just in Cozumel this past week on Allure and went into the store where we made our purchase in 2015. They kept making tons of excuses. I showed them the paper they gave us. They told us they are researching it now. They had a person on site who filled everything out but now they tell us maybe we put wrong information. It was not wrong since we checked everything he wrote. After calling them they can't even find us in the system. Now they told us they are checking again. I am not counting on it. We saw the shopping guy from the ship in the store so we told him. At first he acted surprised but after I told him about all the reviews he kind of admitted that people have problems. I just wish they addressed this on the ship. I am never buying anything in Cozumel again. Prices are also higher than other islands because they are trying to give you that tax incentive. We prices one particular watch In Jamaica and Cozumel. The prices are fixed by this company no matter where you buy it. In Cozumel it was 1000.00 higher. That's when again they started about tax back. Very shady.
