Cozumel Excursion Help

We booked our cruise through Expedia Cruise Ship centres and as such, have access to book some excursions that they recommend. We are looking one in Cozumel called 'Boat Snorkel and Playa Mia'... We are arriving on the Norwegian Getaway at the Punta Langosta terminal. Would this be the pier downtown? We don't want to have to worry about getting a taxi to venture from the pier to the excursion.. Has anyone booked this tour who also sailed into that cruise terminal? Any info would be GREATLY appreciated... (or suggestions on excursions available directly from this cruise terminal are also welcome!)

I have not heard of this specific excursion - sounds like a quick snorkel trip and then the rest of the day at Playa Mia - or maybe they take you to Playa Mia and you take a snorkel trip from there?

 

Play Mia is a popular beach club on Cozumel; you can book it through the cruise line or straight through the beach club's web site. Lots of different packages - some include transportation, some don't.

 

Don't be afraid to venture out on your own - Cozumel is one of the safest and easiest ports in the Caribbean. taxis are fairly well regulated (unlike the crooks in Philly! :mad:) and the prices will be posted on a board near the cab line for your pier.

ShanLeigh77 I too am on the Getaway hitting this port. We leave on 3/19. I'm still trying to decide as well. Since this is the last day/port, I'm worried that we will be exhausted but I'm still interested in the Xcart Eco Park. I'm gonna keep an eye here to see what everyone suggests! Thanks
