Carnival Spirit Disembarkation Question???

We are taking the Carnival Spirit cruise from Vancouver to Hawaii this coming Sep. We have an 8:30 a.m. in the morning flight out of Honolulu. Since the Spirit arrives at Honolulu and shows them in port overnight, can we get up and leave the ship at 5:00 to 6:00 a.m on the last day in order to get to the airport early in the morning or does the Spirit sail back out into the ocean that last night and come back into dock again the last morning?

We've been on several ships with overnite stays on Oahu and all of them stayed in port overnite. The last cruise on the Infinity, we docked at pier 2 the first day, then moved over to pier 11 for disembarkation, but that was about 9 pm. I would imagine you could leave the ship anytime but you would probably have to handle your own luggage.

I very much appreciate the response. I was hoping that was the case. Otherwise we would have to leave the ship the night before and check into a hotel at the airport. I hate to give up last night dinner and a room with a balcony for a hotel room at the airport.
