Grenada DIY or ship ?

Recommended Posts

We picked up a local tour - they usually show you a map and ask which places you prefer to see. We left it to them and were taken for a drive round the island and visited a waterfall and gardens. Local boys were diving into the deep pool at the bottom (for $ of course) and there were ladies in national costume posing for photos (again for $). We then went on to the Grand Etang park - there were monkeys that were wild but used to visitors. I'd taken a couple of bananas with us and, as my hubby got the banana out, the monkey ran along his arm and grabbed it. Eventually dropped back at the ship and we walked into the town. There was a very big market which was quite interesting and ladies selling spice necklaces made of nutmeg etc all gworn locally. It's a beautiful island.
