Restaurants in Strasbourg

Any lunch recommendations for a quaint,

neighborhood bistros within walking distance of the dock?

The Rhine port area where cruise ships dock is largely industrial and at some distance from the centre of the city. I'm not aware of any restaurants of the kind you are looking for around the docks. Most ships provide a regular shuttle from the port to central Strasbourg, where there are countless good restaurants to be found.

I plan on just staying in Strasbourg after the walking tour and having lunch near the Cathedrale. I went to school there many years ago and my favorite Brasserie is still there, Aux Armes de Strasbourg in Place Gutenberg. I'll take the shuttle back later in the afternoon.

There was nothing anywhere near where we docked. We loved Strasbourg and had one of our best lunches of the trip at a little bistro we stumbled into on a side street.
