jake 26 Posted February 8, 2017 #3 Share Posted February 8, 2017 As far in advance as possible I agree, prices for the coming year into 2018 have risen somewhat recently on the two Discovery ships. However cabins on Discovery 2 are not yet available to book, probably because the ship is still with Royal Caribbean.

Sheila49 Posted February 8, 2017 #5 Share Posted February 8, 2017 So have we and there wasn't much left! I left it late and only booked yesterday for June. I wanted midships and the closest one left is seven from the bow end! Sent from my iPad using Forums
jake 26 Posted February 8, 2017 #6 Share Posted February 8, 2017 I've just spoken to cabin reservations and they still won't let me book a JS cabin no. on Discovery 2 for November for the TA from Tenerife to Jamaica.

Maybe they aren't selling cabins for the Winter season yet - our cruise is in May and we chose our cabin when we booked 2 weeks ago. Midships availability was very limited so I am really hoping that Thomson honour our choice and don't move us at the last minute that seems to be happening a lot at the moment. jake 26 Posted February 8, 2017 #8 Share Posted February 8, 2017 You are probably right. It certainly seems to be very popular, mind you it is a very nice ship. I hope you get what you booked.

jake 26 Posted February 8, 2017 #11 Share Posted February 8, 2017 So what type of deals could i get? Sent from my D5803 using Forums mobile app Obviously it depends on when and where you want to go but the cheapest deals are likely to be on the 2 ships that are leaving the fleet at the end of the year -Majesty and Spirit. The Thomson cruises website will give you all the info and Thomson shops may be able to offer deals. It seems that the 2 Discovery ships are in high demand so there's not so much likelihood of a cheapie.
