cuba Visa....

just asking.... our cruise got changed to cuba. we sail july 24th. do you still have to buy the visa if you do not want to get off the ship? a group of 5 girlfriends are going and 2 of the girls said they do not want to go to cuba and want to stay on the boat. thanks

Yes, you still must purchase the visa. There is one box where you can check "I will not disembark the vessel while in Cuba to participate in any of the above referenced activities during this sailing."

 

Whether you get off or not does not matter, the entire compliment of the ship must be cleared for entry.

 

It isn't much different then "port charges". If you stop in a port you are charged a fee.....whether you step off the vessel or not.
