Can you take wine on Royal Carribean cruises?

Recommended Posts

The first time we sailed out of Galveston, we went to the table security directed us to. They took one of our three bottles of wine, but returned that one bottle the afternoon of the last day of the cruise, so we were able to enjoy it that last night. The next time we sailed out of Galveston, we just walked by that table and got our sea pass cards.

The two bottles of wine per stateroom are only allowed on embarkation, not at all when returning from any ports even if you did not bring any in board at the beginning of the cruise. Made this mistake in Valencia, Spain and got my two wine bottles held until the end of the cruise to enjoy when I got home.
