I was curious. Do they make everyone disembark or do they allow you to just relax onboard? We are doing a b2b this summer on the Dream. The only other port we have did a b2b was Jacksonville and they just had us check in at guest services for the new s&s cards.

Thanks!

When we did a B2B, we were given instructions to meet in a specific area at a certain time to await a CCL staffer who would walk us off the ship, run us through customs, then right back on the ship before any other passengers were allowed on board. Very easy and painless! We did have a couple of hours of pretty vacant ship to enjoy before the next throng of folks joined us! And, if you carry wine on board, be sure you have your boarding passes for both legs and you can bring one bottle per over 21 for each leg. ;)

We did a back to back on the Dream last year. It was a blast.

We did change cabins between legs, so we had to pack up our bags the last night on leg 1.

We were given instructions to meet in the Atrium by Guest Services at a set time. We were led off by a crew member to go through customs. We got our new SNS cards and embarked quickly. We had free mimosas while waiting for the cabin to be ready. Then we had free roam of the ship for over an hour before anyone else boarded.

Thank you for the replies. We have the same cabin booked for both legs of our b2b. It is our first time in one of the spa cabins. I just wasn't sure if we would have to go thru customs or not.

Last year on the Magic for our 1st B2B, there were 62 guests staying for a second week. We got the instructions, and the transit card if you wanted to get off the ship and return, the night before. We met in the MDR where they had coffee and pastries. A crew member took our old cards, led us off the ship through customs and immigration where no one even glanced at our documents. as we lined up to go back on board, we got our new cards. In the atrium we were served champagne, mimosas, etc. They took a group picture which was delivered to our cabin at no cost. We were able to go directly to our cabins. We did have to switch cabins, but that was painless. We talked with both cabin stewards, followed their directions to pack things from the drawers and bathroom. All our hanging things were moved by them. Midweek we got a fruit basket and bottle of champagne. We loved the experience and have another B2B this year.
