TruRed76 Posted April 6, 2017 #1 Share Posted April 6, 2017 This will be my first cruise that I will be doing a dive excursion (diving with Cozumel H2O on Tuesday!!). For those that have cruised and gone diving, did you just bring your dive bag on the cruise with you or did you try to pack your gear in a suitcase? We are driving to port so space is not an issue. Just curious if there will be room in the cabin for the bag or if NCL will even allow the bag through security. Thanks! bogeydi Posted April 6, 2017 #2 Share Posted April 6, 2017 I dive on every cruise - as many ports as I can - so I bring all of my own gear and then only need tank & weights at the dive shops. It all fits into one suitcase, and there has been enough room in every balcony cabin we've had thus far (usually fits in the corner of the room between the couch and the balcony door). Love diving in Cozumel! Have fun.
yummysbakery Posted April 6, 2017 #3 Share Posted April 6, 2017 I always bring a dive bag. Never an issue with space. Have a great dive. Sent from my 2PQ93 using Tapatalk
Armydiver Posted April 6, 2017 #4 Share Posted April 6, 2017 I also just bring my normal dive bag and store it under the bed. One note. Leave your dive tool in the car. I made that mistake at an airport once. Not a pleasant experience.

zqvol Posted April 7, 2017 #6 Share Posted April 7, 2017 All I can add is to leave the tanks and weights at home.
