Ncl epic - 7-day western mediterranean from rome (civitavecchia)

Hello,

 

I am looking into a Mediterranean cruise, it will be my first time. I have the opportunity to book an aft-facing balcony on the NCL Epic... Will the back of the boat have great views in the Mediterranean? or will I be better off getting a normal balcony port side?

We had a corner aft balcony on Epic out of Barcelona, it was great. The views are out of this world. Go for it!!!

I book an aft in cold climates and a bow in warm.

Great advise, since many aft balconies are exposed to the sun. If it is hot, then you would wish for more cover. Also, the Epic aft balconies are small.

 

If you do Alaska, definitely do an aft.
