Best Beach with Chair Rentals in La Romana

We are going to the DR (La Romana specifically) for the first time on the Carnival Splendor. We leave in just a couple days and want to just spend time on all the gorgeous beaches.

 

Can anyone recommend the best beach that also has chair rentals??

We've spent time on the public beaches of Bayahibe and Dominicus which are small towns to the east of the port. You can taxi to either and there are chair rentals and drinks and food at both. Bayahibe is the closest and there are restaurants near the beach, you can take a wawa ($1pp van) between the 2 towns if time allows.

I don't know the taxi fare to Bayahibe from the port but I believe it's best to have at least 4 ppl to share the fare, you can find more info on that by using the search function.

If interested in a nice beach along with a sandbar on an excursion, the Seavis Tours Saona Island tour is excellent, that departs from Bayahibe and they coordinate the taxis for you.
