Any reviews on Princess Cay's cabanas from Carnival Cruisers?

Recommended Posts

Going cruising in a few days and we have a stop in Princess Cays. We went to Half Moon Cay last year and rented a private cabana and it was fantastic. We have a cabana set for Princess Cays as well but I haven't seen much chatter on how they compare or even the island itself. I'm sure it will be great, but any heads up I can get is appreciated.

I do wish this poster would return and let us know.

From what I can tell, there's absolutely no difference between the "regular" bungalows and the "Sanctuary" ones except the latter are adults-only.

Have read every thread I could find on the Private Islands board, and asked over there, but not getting responses. We sail at the end of the month.

Better late than never [emoji52]. Actually we didn’t get to got to Princess Cays and wound up back at Half Moon. Not sure why exactly. Although we wanted to see Princess Cays we had no complaints about “having to go to” Half Moon.

My research indicates that the cabana's at Princess Cay are very nice and similar to Half Moon Cay. The services are the same as far as snacks and drinks. The big difference is that the cabana's at Princess Cay are not water front where you can just walk in. Instead there is a fence and a wall. It's a few minute stroll to be able to get in the water.

Hope this helps!

Actually that helps a lot. Being right there at the water is a big deal for us so knowing this may just save us some money whenever we make it to this island.
