Rock Wall Question

I am going on the Explorer next month and was wondering if they charge a fee to climb the rock wall and what type of equipment is required. Do you need any special shoes, gloves or helmet?

No charge and all you need are socks. And if you want to ice skate, you'll need pants. Have fun :D

You'll also need to bring your own nerves. Mine gave out about 2/3 of the way up; I made the mistake of stopping and looking down.

 

Don't quit until you ring the bell at the top.

 

They'll give you a harness, shoes and helmet.

Does anyone know if the rock walls are all free of charge on all the ships it's on? We will be sailing on the Legend next week.

Yes Lisa, The rock wall is free on all RCI ships. You know the old saying If it's free it's for me. Enjoy :)

To the best of my knowledge, there is no charge for rock climbing on any of the Royal Caribbean boats.

 

Just be sure you pay attention to the times when the wall is open and that if you're not in line early enough, you may not get a chance.
