Missed out on an upgrade because my TA was closed!

I had a TA that would not release my booking and RCL stepped in and got it back for me

 

Good to hear that. Mostly I have had very good experiences with TA's. When I start to feel that the experience (poor response to my phone calls, etc -- usually my first clue) is not as good as it once was....I have gone direct with Royal....when I find another TA to use, I do....and the extra little perks/OBC's are nice.

The 60 days is to transfer it from booking on board TO the TA, not the other way around - the transfer AWAY from the TA has no time limit, just an approval/release required from the TA.

 

I'm just reiterating what they told me. Idk what's true or not but if you're right I'm not surprised. Add it to the long list of their failures.
