Whats right at the port area?

I need to ride a scooter which I bring my own on cruises. What is right at the port area without leaving there. I think we were there once many years ago but have forgotten whats available to do.

There's 2 pools, but one is for dolphin discovery now. a small beach area, typical port shops, souvenir kiosks, Sr Frogs, etc.. Just outside the cruise port are other shops a Farmacia, and a water park. These could be accessible with your scooter but a long trip, given the length of the pier itself , depth of the shopping complex and presence of a large parking lot between the shopping and the port gate. I do not believe any of the taxis just outside the gate are equipped to handle a scooter.
