klmb318 Posted July 1, 2017 #1 Share Posted July 1, 2017 Will stop in Catalina in November. Is there a pier or do you tender ashore? Also, either way, where do you get on land at? Looking at going to Two Harbors and trying to figure out how to get there. Sent from my SM-G930V using Forums mobile app

Kamloops50 Posted July 1, 2017 #4 Share Posted July 1, 2017 As far as I know there is only one port on Catalina island. Not sure but I think it is Avalon.
SoCalCruzzing Posted July 1, 2017 #5 Share Posted July 1, 2017 You tender in at Avalon. Two harbors is way too small and too shallow for larger ships Sent from my iPhone using Forums
SoCalCruzzing Posted July 1, 2017 #6 Share Posted July 1, 2017 The only way to two harbors from Avalon is to catch a ferry boat or rent your own boat, I would not recommend it if coming off a cruise ship as you could miss your sailing if late coming back. Best thing to do is rent a golf cart or electric bike and tour the area around Avalon. The town itself is very small with 3 bars and maybe a dozen restaurants along the ocean front harbor.
