We were asked by out 'butler' to make reservations for the time we would like to eat in Luminae. Luminae do take reservations they just don't honor them, which is why we never bothered after the first night.

I do remember when I spoke with the shore side concierge last year making arrangements for special requests in our suite, she did ask me what time we would like to eat in Luminae the first night.

As we had reservations in Qsine, it didn't matter.

Upon boarding, the butler never asked us to give them a time for dining.

With the exception of one other night in Tuscan Grille, we just went to Luminae when we were ready, usually between 6:30-7:30, and immediately were seated.

In dealing with the SS concierge again this year for our cruise next week, she hasn't asked about dining other then to make reservations in the specialty restaurants for us.
